PAW Patrol is a Canadian CGI–animated television series created by Keith Chapman. The series premiered on Nickelodeon in the U. S. on August 12, 2013 and TVOKids in Canada on September 2, 2013 and also airs on Knowledge Kids, Tele-Quebec and City Kids in Canada. Although this is considered a Nick Jr. series, the series is broadcast on Nickelodeon and TVOKids. The series is produced by Spin Master Entertainment, in association with TVOKids and Nickelodeon, with animation provided by Guru Studio, with the series’ funding provided by The Canadian Film or Video Production Tax Credit and The Ontario Film and Television Tax Credit, with Writers Guild of Canada and ACTRA writing the series’ renewal plates.
